Job DescriptionJob Title: Welder Assembler Job Description The Welder Assembler performs spot welding and basic assembly tasks in a heavy industrial environment. This role follows detailed instructions, supports production activities, and contributes to the efficient and safe fabrication of welded components. It is well suited for entry-level candidates who are physically capable, eager to learn, and committed to developing their welding skills on the job. Responsibilities • Perform spot welding operations on metal parts and components according to production requirements., • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately to complete welding and assembly tasks., • Read and interpret basic blueprints or production drawings to assemble and weld components correctly., • Maintain focus and concentration while performing repetitive welding and assembly tasks., • Handle materials and welded parts safely, using proper lifting techniques and safe work practices., • Inspect welds visually to identify obvious defects and ensure parts meet basic quality standards., • Use hand tools and basic equipment required for welding and assembly work., • Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to understand work assignments and report issues., • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe and efficient production environment., • Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements in a heavy industrial setting.Essential Skills, • Ability to perform spot welding tasks in a production environment., • Basic welding knowledge or experience, with a willingness to learn and improve., • Ability to read and understand simple blueprints or production drawings., • Strong physical strength and stamina to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift., • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise welding and assembly work., • Ability to maintain concentration and attention to detail during repetitive tasks., • Capability to understand and communicate information clearly, both verbally and in writing., • Coachability and openness to feedback, training, and instruction from supervisors and experienced team members.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Welding-related training, coursework, or apprenticeship experience is an asset., • Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial., • Familiarity with basic welding safety practices and procedures., • No minimum formal educational requirements for entry-level candidates.Why Work Here? Work Environment This position operates in a heavy industrial setting with active production equipment and welding operations. Standard industrial attire and the use of personal protective equipment such as safety footwear, eye protection, and other gear as required are expected to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hillsborough, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
