Looking for a Dental Assistant to join our easygoing, friendly team - No Wednesdays or Saturdays ! Our Dental Office is seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant with X-ray license for approximately for 25-30 hours per week. Position is for M-T-Th-F . Responsibilities: • Greeting patients when they arrive., • Set up treatment rooms for procedures., • Seat patients in treatment rooms., • Help patients feel comfortable., • Obtain and review health histories., • Ensure patient's questions are answered thoroughly before they leave., • Ensure proper treatment notes are recorded in patient's chart., • Perform clinical procedures as directed by dentist., • Treatment Room Management and Sterilization., • Keep dental units ready, stocked and clean., • Sterilize rooms, all instruments and handpieces., • Keep trays, instruments and treatment room drawers organized., • Inventory Management, • Taking X Rays according to procedures., • Send out and monitor all dental laboratory cases. Skills • X-Ray License required, • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, • Understanding of health & safety regulations, • Good computer skills, • Excellent communication and people skills, • Attention to detail, • Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Salary is commensurate with experience.
