Position Summary Manages all facets of mechanical ventilation and is a resource for respiratory care staff and health care team across all settings for CAPE patients. Provides various non-invasive and invasive respiratory therapies in inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings for all CAPE patients. Position Summary / Department Summary: The ECMO Specialist is enrolled and actively participating in the department’s ECMO Training Program. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the skills necessary to proficiently and safely establish, manage, and control extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) technology and assist with associated procedures in acutely ill patients of all ages in critical care settings.
