Job DescriptionJob Title: AssemblerJob Description This role focuses on assembling products in a climate-controlled production environment using hand and power tools. You will work on a production line, interpret technical documentation, and ensure each product meets quality and traceability standards. The position requires strong attention to detail, comfort with repetitive tasks, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures while collaborating with a supportive team. Responsibilities • Complete product assemblies using hand tools and power tools in accordance with standard operating procedures., • Manipulate both small and large parts with precision to ensure correct and secure assembly., • Interpret technical documents, such as work instructions and drawings, and follow written or verbal directions accurately., • Work collaboratively on a production line to achieve required output and production targets., • Verify serial numbers on components and finished products to maintain accurate traceability records., • Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process and identify defective components or assemblies., • Assemble boxes and packaging materials when needed to prepare products for shipment., • Sort, stage, and store materials and components according to organizational standards and workflow requirements., • Package firearms in accordance with company protocols and safety procedures., • Complete required daily paperwork accurately and submit documentation to management on time., • Assist shipping and receiving teams with unloading materials and performing inventory checks as needed., • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines and company policies., • Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.Essential Skills, • Experience with mechanical assembly or manufacturing preferred, including production or assembly work., • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively., • Strong attention to detail and defect detection skills in all tasks., • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment., • High school diploma or equivalent education., • Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow standard operating procedures and technical instructions., • Ability to handle repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality., • Ability to manipulate small parts with accuracy and fine motor control., • Comfort standing for prolonged periods during the shift., • Basic understanding of production or manufacturing environments.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Previous assembly experience is a plus, particularly in production or mechanical environments., • Open to training and learning new processes, tools, and procedures., • Interest in developing mechanical skills and understanding of manufacturing workflows., • Strong reliability, punctuality, and commitment to meeting production goals., • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Andersonville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
