Location: Remote (Preference for Texas-certified educators) Commitment: Contract-based, project completion required. Subject Areas: English 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th (High School) Start Date: Immediate/ Flexible. Details discussed during interview. Overview: Kingdom International School (KIS) is seeking experienced and committed high school English teachers to develop a complete set of recorded online lessons for one full grade level (English 9, 10, 11, or 12). Our curriculum is built upon the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), so preference will be given to educators currently teaching in or certified by the state of Texas. However, qualified teachers from different states are also welcome to apply. This role involves creating high-quality instructional videos (approximately 1 hour each), designed for asynchronous student learning. Each grade consists of 180 lessons; split evenly between "A" (first semester) and "B" (second semester) units. Teachers must be able to complete all 180 lessons for a single grade level, along with a midterm and final exam. Responsibilities: • Develop and record 180 engaging, standards-aligned lessons for one full grade level (English 9, 10, 11, or 12), • Submit a midterm and final exam (1 for each 90-lesson segment), • Ensure lessons are aligned with Texas state standards (TEKS), if applicable, • Create lessons suitable for asynchronous learning, clear and complete without live interaction, • Commit to completing the full grade-level course (A and B); no partial commitments, • Work closely with the tech team to ensure compatibility with our LMS (Canvas) Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years teaching high school English (grades 9–12), • Experience teaching in Texas public or charter schools is strongly favored (not mandatory but preferred), • Good understanding of TEKS-aligned instruction Ability to record and deliver lessons professionally and clearly (not mandatory but preferred), • Dependable and able to meet agreed deadlines for content delivery.
