We need you for As a Junior Scientist – Assay Development, you will develop immunoassays for Bioherent’s photonic POC diagnostic platform. Your role involves designing, optimizing, and validating immunoassays for biomarker detection while collaborating with engineers, scientists, and regulatory experts to advance new diagnostics. This position requires strong laboratory skills. Your responsibilities include: · Development, optimization, and validation of photonic immunoassays · Design, execute, and troubleshoot immunoassays, analyze data, and prepare reports. · Work closely with engineers, scientists, and regulatory teams. · Support grant applications, regulatory documentation, and scientific publications. · Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills within multidisciplinary teams. Required skills · BSc/PhD in Chemistry, Biochemist, Material Science or a related field. · 1+ years of experience in immunoassay development, biosensors, or molecular diagnostics. · Strong data analysis demonstrated, including proficiency in Python, Origin, or statistical software. · Excellent organizational, writing and verbal communication skills in English. Preferred skills · Experience in drug allergy diagnostics or related immunological conditions. · Previous work in biosensor performance optimization (increasing sensitivity, specificity, and LOD). · Understanding of statistical analysis and design of experiments (DOE). · Understanding of IVD regulations, incl. assay validation requirements for regularoty submissions.
