With people data, compliance, and workforce management at the heart of their success, they are now seeking a People Technology Analyst with strong Workday Absence expertise to join their growing team. Job Description: In this role, you will take a hands-on functional lead for Workday Absence Management while supporting and optimising wider People systems to ensure accurate data, compliant processes, and meaningful reporting. You will: • Act as the functional owner for Workday Absence, supporting configuration, eligibility rules, accruals, calendars, and country-specific requirements, • Provide day-to-day functional support across Workday HCM, with a strong focus on absence-related processes and data, • Configure and maintain business processes, security roles, and organisational structures, • Resolve system issues, particularly those impacting absence tracking, compliance, and reporting, advising on best-practice solutions, • Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics, including absence and workforce data, • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across HR systems, • Support mass data uploads, corrections, and ongoing data management, • Partner closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and the wider business to gather requirements and deliver system enhancements, • Deliver system training, guidance, and documentation, especially around absence processes and reporting, • Support audits, compliance checks, and data governance requirements Experience Required: • Degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or similar, • At least three years’ experience in HR systems or People Technology roles, • Hands-on experience supporting Workday HCM with strong exposure to Workday Absence Management, • Demonstrable experience configuring and supporting absence processes in a multi-country environment, • Strong capability in building and maintaining Workday reports and analytics, • Experience working with HR data, audits, and compliance-driven reporting, • Understanding of Workday security and business process frameworks, • Exposure to global HR environments and complex organisational structures, • Experience supporting system changes, enhancements, or project-based initiatives Benefits and Perks: • Competitive salary, • Performance-based annual bonus, • Generous annual leave allowance, • Birthday off as an extra day’s leave, • Travel discounts and industry perks, • Referral bonus scheme, • Insurance and well-being benefits, • Company events and social activities, • Supportive and inclusive team culture Click here to apply for this Workday Absence Analyst job, which is being recruited by Ambitions Travel Recruitment, a boutique recruitment agency, specialising in global luxury travel, hospitality, lifestyle and events roles, and known for sourcing hard-to-find talent.
