For more information, DC Advisory Spain has launched a recruiting process for an M&A VP to join its fast-paced, growing team in Madrid. Due to increased deal flow, the team is looking to expand the Madrid office by hiring a high-calibre VP to start at short notice. The M&A Team offers opportunities for upwards progression, continuous training, and significant involvement from day one, working in small teams with above-market client exposure. We stand out as a better place to work within a challenging industry. • Lead day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, both buy-side and sell-side, coordinating the deal team, clients, other stakeholders and other advisors., • Lead, supervise and coordinate the drafting of marketing materials and other process documentation including pitchbooks, information memorandums, teasers, etc., • Lead, design, elaborate and supervise the construction of complex financial models from scratch (operating models, LBO, valuation and transaction structure and returns analysis, financing analysis, etc.)., • Manage and lead a team of associates and analysts, supporting you to carry out the above responsibilities and acting as a quality control on their work product., • Work alongside colleagues from other DC Advisory Teams., • Maintain a positive and supportive firm culture, focused on the effective delivery of world-class service to clients., • 6-8 years of experience in a relevant investment bank, other reputed advisory firm, M&A Advisory function (corporate finance/corporate development) or private equity firm., • Proven experience in the execution of M&A deals., • A strong academic background, a strong work ethic with a can-do attitude and high attention to detail., • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential., • Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent communication skills; ability to build complex models from scratch., • Solid accounting and financial knowledge including different valuation methodologies (DCF, DDM, multiples, etc.)., • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesise and interpret data, and present it in a clear, concise and logical way; high attention to detail., • Experience in supervising and teaching junior members of teams; knowledge of databases such as MergerMarket, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.; a team player with leadership potential., • To apply, please send your CV to the provided contact., • Executive, • Full-time, • Finance #J-18808-Ljbffr
