As Sales Manager Spain, you will lead nanimarquina’s commercial development in one of our most important and most strategic markets. Your mission is to accelerate growth across both retail and contract, strengthen our relationships with architects and interior designers, expand our premium retail network, and ensure that we fully leverage the resources already available within nanimarquina, including our Barcelona headquarters, our flagship store, and our e-commerce platform. This is not a classic account management role. It is a market leadership role with both strategic and operational responsibility. You will shape the commercial plan for Spain, drive execution in the field, and work cross-functionally with colleagues across sales, marketing, customer service, operations, and digital to turn Spain into a stronger, more scalable business for nanimarquina. In this role, you won’t just manage customers, you’ll help define how nanimarquina wins in Spain. Your work will combine business development, market activation, and close collaboration with internal teams to build long-term growth across channels. • Own and execute the commercial strategy for Spain across retail, contract, and key accounts., • Identify where the biggest opportunities lie by channel, region, customer type, and project segment, and translate these into a clear action plan., • Build a strong sales pipeline and maintain high commercial activity with a focus on both immediate revenue and long-term market development., • Build and nurture long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, specifiers, developers, hotel groups, and contract partners., • Position nanimarquina as a trusted design and project partner by presenting collections confidently, supporting specification, and following projects closely from lead to order., • Improve project conversion by combining design credibility, technical understanding, and strong commercial follow-through., • Develop relationships with existing retail partners while identifying and opening new opportunities with premium furniture, design, and lifestyle retailers across Spain., • Work with retailers to improve sell-through, product presentation, staff engagement, and brand visibility., • Ensure that nanimarquina is represented in the right stores, with the right collections, and with a clear commercial plan behind each partnership., • Work closely with the Barcelona store team to ensure the store supports the broader Spain strategy, not only as a retail space, but also as a showroom, relationship platform, and lead generator for both retail and contract., • Help drive traffic, events, customer meetings, A&D engagement, and local market visibility through the store., • Use the store as a natural extension of the sales effort, especially for key accounts, design professionals, and project opportunities., • Collaborate with the ecommerce and digital teams to ensure Spain benefits from local campaigns, lead generation initiatives, CRM activity, and online/offline coordination., • Identify opportunities where e-commerce, digital marketing, and CRM can support account development, retail sell-through, brand awareness, and new business generation., • Ensure Spain becomes a market where digital tools actively strengthen the commercial effort rather than sit separately from it., • Use the resources of our Barcelona headquarters to maximize market impact, working closely with marketing, customer service, operations, finance, and leadership., • Share market feedback, customer needs, and commercial opportunities so Spain becomes a well-connected, well-supported market internally., • Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth execution, strong customer experience, and alignment between commercial ambition and operational delivery., • Represent nanimarquina in the Spanish design community through client meetings, showroom events, fairs, industry gatherings, and local partnerships., • Strengthen the visibility of the brand in key design and business circles across the country., • Act as a strong local ambassador for nanimarquina’s values, design language, and sustainability leadership. We are looking for a commercially strong, design-oriented, and entrepreneurial market leader who can confidently represent nanimarquina in Spain across both retail and contract. You are likely to succeed in this role if you are: You have at least 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or market management within design, furniture, lighting, interiors, textiles, or other premium lifestyle categories. You know how to build business, develop accounts, and convert opportunities into long-term growth. You understand the different dynamics of premium retail and project/contract sales, and you are comfortable working across both. You know how to manage independent retailers and key accounts, while also developing relationships with architects, designers, and project stakeholders. You have an existing network, or the credibility and drive to quickly build one, among architects, interior designers, retailers, specifiers, and commercial decision-makers in Spain. You understand how the market works and how design-led brands win. You enjoy building markets, not just servicing them. You can think strategically, but you are equally comfortable taking action, following up, solving problems, and pushing opportunities forward yourself. You are comfortable working with CRM systems, pipeline management, reporting, and digital lead generation tools, and you understand how digital channels can support commercial growth in a modern premium brand. You are motivated by great products, strong brands, and purposeful business. You can speak authentically about design, materials, craft, and environmental responsibility, and turn these strengths into meaningful commercial conversations. You work well across teams and functions, balancing independence in the market with strong collaboration internally. You are fluent in Spanish and English. You are based in Barcelona or Madrid, with flexibility to travel regularly across Spain to visit clients, partners, events, and project opportunities.
