We are looking for an Accounting Associate to support our Accounting & Administration Department . In this role, you will be involved in day‑to‑day accounting operations, reporting, tax support and administrative tasks , working closely with internal teams and external partners such as auditors, banks and fiscal advisors. The position offers hands‑on exposure to accounting processes in a multinational group environment , with the opportunity to grow technically and professionally. Location: Barcelona, Spain Your journey Accounting & Finance operations Register and control general accounting entries: supplier invoices, provisions, accruals , periodifications. Register bank movements and perform account reconciliations. Issue sales invoices in specific cases. Review, post and control expenses from all departments using Factorial. Reporting & compliance Support monthly reporting and reporting to HQ. Assist in the review of Annual Accounts, Local File documentation and statutory requirements. Support the preparation of public administration statistics and official reports. Participate in tax preparation activities, especially INTRASTAT , and support other taxes (VAT, IRPF, etc.). Systems, coordination & administration Participate in ERP Business Central testing, incidence analysis and coordination with technical support. Support the preparation of documentation for subsidies, public tenders and R&D projects. Act as back-up in preparation of documentation requested by the Tax Agency and collaborate with fiscal advisors. Perform general administrative tasks: document filing, contract follow‑up, internal coordination and call handling. Act as back‑up for banking operations and other accounting/administrative tasks when required (with proper training). What do you bring to the role? Technical Degree in Administration and Finance (mainly in Spain). 2–3 years of experience in a similar accounting / administrative position. Solid knowledge of general accounting and cost accounting. Experience working with ERP systems (Business Central is a plus). Advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Organized, reliable and proactive mindset. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Tax knowledge (Spanish VAT, CIT, withholdings, etc.) Strong interest in using digital tools to enhance operation efficiency, along with a proactive learning attitude. Ability to follow processes and work with checklists and documentation standards . Professional communication skills in English (written and verbal). Fluent in Spanish as well (C1/C2).
