Main activities: global product delivery, portfolio management, day‑to‑day operations, and entities proximity. Department / Team: Global Service Operations Department within GTO. We manage day‑to‑day IT service delivery for AXA globally, partnering with Group Operations, AXA Entities, and external suppliers, in line with the GO IT Operations Framework, SLAs, OLAs, and Security Instructions. About The Job Main Missions • Develop, maintain, and optimise data pipelines and technical components of the Cockpit Data Factory., • Collaborate with teams to align the data factory with product vision, customer needs, and market trends., • Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions., • Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions, identifying optimisation opportunities., • Contribute to the Cockpit team’s technical readiness, sharing knowledge and driving collective improvement. Dimension of Role • Lead a team of data specialists; collaborate with AXA GO products and AXA entities., • Ensure all data requirements are met, contributing to data needs, quality of service, and maturity across GO and Opcos., • Define the Cockpit Data Factory roadmap in line with product vision and AXA GO priorities. Technical Expertise • In‑depth knowledge of Data Engineering tools: Databricks, Azure Data Lake, PySpark, Azure Analysis Services., • Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable data solutions., • Expertise in PowerBI data visualisation., • Knowledge of performance monitoring tools is appreciated. Leadership • Lead data specialists on projects, improvements, and modifications., • Provide technical guidance and oversight to meet scope, time, and quality., • Foster innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Communication • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders: business analysts, project managers, and technical teams., • Communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders clearly., • Resolve cross‑functional issues collaboratively. Problem‑Solving • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues., • Analyse complex technical problems and provide practical solutions., • Troubleshoot and debug platform issues, proposing resolutions. Strategic Thinking • Input into data strategy and long‑term planning., • Analyse evidence to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement., • Balance business goals with technical feasibility. Mentoring • Coach junior team members to meet technical objectives and grow professionally., • Create and lead training on Data Engineering tools., • Foster knowledge sharing and documentation culture. Expertise on Cockpit Data Factory Platform • Lead pipeline delivery activities., • Define and implement pipeline configurations., • Maintain design, architecture, and procedural documentation., • Optimize pipeline performance for resource utilisation and cost‑effectiveness., • Implement upgrades, patches, and enhancements., • Contribute to data solution delivery and roadmap definition., • Ensure security, risk, and data privacy compliance., • Communicate with data tool vendors. Data Aggregation, Analysis and Reporting • Assess GO and Opcos product needs for data management and processing., • Design and implement solutions to onboard new scopes to Cockpit Data Factory., • Deliver end‑to‑end data views with metrics and insights on covered scopes. Transformation / Innovation • Build data solutions roadmap aligned with Global Product vision and AXA GO strategy., • Continuous improvement and technology watch., • Apply IT transformation in line with GO priorities (Agile, Digital)., • Participate in transformation and acceleration initiatives. About You Managerial Skills • Leadership and team spirit., • Strategic vision (market watch, product technical roadmap, benchmark)., • Intrapreneurship., • Coordination of international teams (Offshore/Nearshore)., • Collaboration with GO departments, AXA entities, and external partners., • Communication, presentation, negotiation, influence, persuasion., • Continuous improvement and adoption of innovations. Technical Skills • Strong understanding of Data Engineering tools, techniques, and methodologies., • Experience in Databricks, Azure Data Lake, PySpark, Azure Analysis Services; certification appreciated., • Python scripting, data integration tools., • Scrum Agile and DevOps methodology., • Project management skills., • Familiarity with cloud computing environments and emerging trends., • General IT and data architecture knowledge, from ingestion to visualization. Non‑Technical Skills • Product ownership for data platforms., • Project and solution delivery (Cycle V, AGILE, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps)., • Technology and market watch (Data Engineering, digital, big data)., • Knowledge in compliance, security, and data privacy aspects., • Nice to have: Insurance business.
