The successful candidate will join the Simulations, Fluids & Cryogenics Group at the Transversal Section of the Engineering Division with the following main tasks: Descubra más sobre las tareas diarias, las responsabilidades generales y la experiencia requerida para esta oportunidad desplazándose hacia abajo ahora. • Cryogenic Systems Design and Integration: design and development of cryogenic systems and infrastructures for accelerators, beamlines and scientific instrumentation, including cryostats, cryocoolers, helium and nitrogen distribution systems, transfer lines and associated equipment, ensuring their proper integration with the facility., • Project Engineering: to provide technical leadership in cryogenic engineering projects throughout all project phases, including conceptual design, technical specifications, design reviews, manufacturing follow‑up, installation, commissioning and operation., • Technical Specifications and Procurement: negotiation, definition, preparation and review of technical specifications for public tenders and procurement processes related to cryogenic equipment, installations, goods and services required for operation and future developments., • Engineering Analysis: to define, and/or supervise engineering analyses (CAE, FEA, CFD) required for the design, optimization and validation of cryogenic systems, including thermal, thermo‑mechanical and thermo‑hydraulic studies., • Helium Liquefaction Plant Operation: to operate, maintain and continuously improve the helium liquefaction, recovery and distribution systems, ensuring high reliability, maximizing helium recovery efficiency and supporting the facility operational needs., • Cryogenic Infrastructure Operation and Maintenance: to operate, maintain and improve cryogenic systems and infrastructures, including cryocoolers, liquid nitrogen distribution systems and associated equipment, defining and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities., • Support to Scientific Facilities: to provide engineering support to beamlines, accelerators and other technical groups in the development, operation and maintenance of equipment and systems involving cryogenic technologies., • Documentation: to prepare and maintain engineering documentation, technical reports, operating procedures, maintenance documentation and commissioning reports associated with cryogenic systems and installations., • Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: to work closely with project engineers, vacuum engineers, scientists, technicians and external suppliers to develop and optimize scientific infrastructures and instrumentation requiring cryogenic solutions., • Communication: provide support to the group head in representing the group at internal and external meetings, workshops and conferences, communicating results, developments and technical achievements related to cryogenic engineering. Requirements • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering related to Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Fluid Mechanics or equivalent., • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an engineer working on tasks related to the position. xcskxlj, • A minimum English language level equivalent to B2.
