We look for recent graduates in various disciplines who want to develop their careers in the aeronautical sector. Selection takes place from April to July 2026. /p h3What the internship consists of /h3 pTogether with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) that offers advanced training and a Master’s degree organized into three training blocks. You will study for a Master and then work for 11 months in an area related to your degree. The internship starts in early October 2026, lasts 11 months, is full time (40 h/week) and includes an attractive study grant. /p h3Internship Job Description – Air Power Central Finance /h3 pAs a recent graduate, you will be part of Air Power Central Finance for a year‑long (11‑month) full‑time internship. Your main tasks are to support a manager or team in operational, planning, or organisational tasks, and to co‑pilot the financial performance of the business. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libPlan challenge /b ul liUnderstand the business operational environment (strategy, governance, challenges, constraints). /li liLead the preparation of the financial planning, prepare accurate forecasts, provide guidance, and challenge business requests. /li liSet and maintain multi‑year financial targets. /li liDevelop and run financial models, simulations, scenarios, and business cases for projects, MA, tenders, and more. /li liIdentify financial risks and opportunities and advise on mitigation strategies. /li liIdentify and secure external funding opportunities. /li /ul /li libAnalyze advise /b ul liProduce accurate financial reporting at the appropriate level of granularity. /li liAssess actual financial performance, analyse deviations, and advise on corrective actions. /li liAnalyse cost base, revenues, unit costs, RD, and other drivers. /li liIdentify drivers for optimisation and competitiveness, monitor savings, and assess risks and opportunities. /li /ul /li libSupport execution ensure data quality /b ul liCompute hourly rate, support resource review and headcount target definition, and prepare chargeback cost reallocation models. /li liApprove shopping carts, audit purchase orders, and review commitments and accruals. /li liTrigger cost rebooking and cost transfer when needed. /li /ul /li libCommunicate /b ul liFeed Investor Relations with relevant information supporting Airbus equity story. /li /ul /li libEnsure compliance and enforce finance processes /b ul liDefine funding and cost allocation schemes with Tax, Treasury and Accounting. /li liReview statutory accounts of affiliates within scope. /li liDefine cost accounting structure and ensure finance processes are documented and known. /li liHelp the business navigate finance processes and ensure adherence to compliance requirements. /li liInteract with auditors as required. /li /ul /li libRaise finance awareness in the business /b ul liDefine and share a finance toolbox (e.g., business case). /li liProvide reference data, targets, actuals, pro‑formats, finance roadmap, and repository. /li liExplain key finance concepts to increase business awareness. /li /ul /li /ul pAll financial dimensions, from PL to cash flow, balance sheet, cost base, capital expenditures, and more, are considered.
