The Business Unit Adsorbents Additives is seeking a driven and technically credible Product Manager Adsorbents to be based primarily at our site in Tarragona, Spain. In this role, you will take ownership of the specific product portfolio, acting as the key connector between operations, sales, RD, marketing, and customers to optimize the product lifecycle and maximize business group profitability. This position reports directly to the Product and Business Development Manager. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage the end-to-end product portfolio and lifecycle /li liDefine and maintain pricing guidelines, ensuring compliance across sales channels /li liApprove formulations, product and raw material specifications, and packaging standards /li liDrive product lifecycle decisions, including portfolio pruning and cost optimization initiatives /li liEnsure full regulatory compliance, coordinating with corporate and regulatory teams on product documentation /li liLead resolution of customer complaints, balancing customer satisfaction with operational feasibility /li liInitiate and manage innovation and improvement projects in close collaboration with RD and technical teams /li liEvaluate and implement strategies to access new market segments (e.g., Pharmaceutical industry) /li liPartner with Marketing to develop technical content, training materials, and trade show contributions /li liCollaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality Management, and Sales Managers to align on product strategy and execution /li liThe role also involves travel to engage with customers and stakeholders as needed. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely related field /li liMinimum 3 years of professional experience in product management, technical marketing, or a related role in the specialty chemicals industry, experience in sales or positions with exposure with customers is an advantage /li liStrong technical understanding of adsorbents, additives, or related chemical products (preferred) /li liFluent in English; German language skills are an advantage /li liDemonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional stakeholder relationships with confidence and clarity /li liResults-oriented mindset with a structured approach to prioritization and problem-solving /li liCustomer-centric perspective with a solid understanding of market dynamics and unmet customer needs /li liResilient and adaptable under pressure, with a proactive attitude toward continuous learning /li liCollaborative team player who thrives in a global matrix organization /li liHigh level of accountability, integrity, and ownership in day-to-day decision-making /li /ul h3Our Offer /h3 ul liTotal Target Cash includes base salary and annual bonus; final offer based on skills and experience /li liA global role with real impact, primarily based at Clariant's manufacturing and innovation site in Tarragona, Spain. /li liThis position offers a flexible hybrid working model, combining office and home-office days. /li liA collaborative and innovative culture where cross-functional teamwork and continuous improvement are valued /li liAccess to professional development opportunities within a diverse, international organization /li liMeaningful work aligned with Clariant's sustainability ambitions and responsible chemistry principles /li liA supportive reporting structure with strong exposure to senior business and technical leadership /li /ul h3EEO Statement /h3 pAt Clariant, we believe that diversity, equity and inclusion are essential to our success.
