ph3Position Overview /h3pThe Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Specialist manages the operation, optimization, and continuous enhancement of Zurich TDC’s enterprise data governance platform, focusing on Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalog (CDGC) and Cloud Data Quality (CDQ). The role ensures trusted, discoverable data through high‑quality metadata management, data quality controls, and end‑to‑end data lineage, and serves as a technical authority for metadata ingestion, API integrations, platform monitoring, and service account governance. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliConfigure, automate, and manage data quality rules and monitoring frameworks within CDQ, using AI‑based anomaly detection and monitoring. /liliUse AI to ensure accurate capture, validation, and maintenance of end‑to‑end data lineage, supporting impact analysis and regulatory transparency. /liliDefine and implement data observability metrics such as completeness, freshness, accuracy, and reliability, including reporting and dashboarding powered by AI tools. /liliGenerate and maintain business glossaries, data asset descriptions, and stewardship documentation with AI assistants and agents, proposing and pre‑populating data quality rules and policies based on metadata patterns. /liliCollaborate with data stewards and business stakeholders to drive adoption of catalog and governance capabilities, including training users on AI‑assisted catalog features. /liliManage platform access: user roles, permissions, and service account lifecycle management (creation, credential governance, rotation, compliance). /liliDesign, configure, and optimize metadata ingestion processes using Informatica connectors, APIs, and custom integration patterns. /liliExecute and maintain API/MCP‑based read and write operations to enable automated metadata ingestion, enrichment, and governance workflows. /liliMonitor and ensure reliability of scanning processes, ingestion pipelines, API activity, and platform performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to metadata ingestion, API integrations, authentication, and service account access. /liliAct as a subject‑matter expert and second‑line support, coordinating with platform administrators and Informatica vendor support for complex incidents. /liliDocument standards, processes, and best practices using AI to ensure scalability, consistency, and operational excellence. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field. /liliHands‑on experience with Informatica IDMC, specifically MCC, CDGC, and CDQ. /liliDeep understanding of metadata management and enterprise data cataloging, including metadata models, classifications, and glossaries, and integration patterns for ingesting metadata from multiple sources. /liliExperience designing and implementing data quality rules, data lineage, impact analysis, and governance frameworks. /liliBackground working with enterprise data platforms (data warehouses, ETL/ELT tools, cloud ecosystems); SQL skills and solid understanding of data structures. /liliExperience with API integration and automation (REST APIs, MCP frameworks). /liliKnowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Service principals). /liliPractical experience with Generative AI, ideally in coding and agentic workflows, including automating repetitive technical tasks, designing prompt strategies for LLMs, and integrating AI‑based components into existing data governance workflows. /li /ulh3Preferred Skills Competencies /h3ulliExperience with additional data governance/catalog solutions such as Collibra or Alation. /liliExposure to AI/ML‑based observability or monitoring tools for data platforms. /liliExperience with scripting or programming languages used for automation (Python, PowerShell). /liliFamiliarity with cloud‑native data services in Azure and/or AWS, including security and compliance controls. /liliExperience designing or operating AI‑assisted self‑service data discovery capabilities for business users. /li /ulh3Behavioural and Soft Skills /h3ulliProactive, results‑driven attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement. /liliExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving capabilities. /liliStrong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills. /liliFluency in English;
