We are looking for candidates for the position of Expert Engineer in Power Plant Technology . The Expert Engineer in Power plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing Power Generation Projects for our clients. Key responsibilities Development and supervision of hydraulic calculations, heat and material balance, utilities summaries and calculations. Prepare the respective reports and documentation. Support other disciplines. Prepare P&IDs / line list. Qualifications and desired attributes Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 10-15 years of experience in FEED and EPC. General Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering calculations in Combined cycle/ Coal fired/ Gas Fired boiler Projects. Technical Proficiency: High expertise in hydraulic calculation, process simulation, equipment design, instrumentation and valves specification and client comment management. Technical Skills: Hydraulic calculations KKS for line designation Control valves calculations Control Narrative & C&E matrix process development Equipment design Instrumentation specification. Heat and Material balance development (with ThermoFlow desirable) Surge analysis (water hammer) using AFT Impulse or equivalent Utilities Summary Functional Descriptions Competencies: Work as part of a multi-office, multi-disciplinary team. High Level of Stress Management Commitment and proactivity. Leadership: Proven track record of leading successful projects and teams. Key responsibilities Process Design and Optimization: Develop and optimize steel production processes, including smelting, refining, and casting. Project Management: Lead and manage projects aimed at improving production efficiency and reducing environmental impact. Technical Expertise: Provide expert insights on metallurgical processes, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and material properties / heat and material balances. Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of steel production. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Training and Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide training on advanced siderurgical techniques. Qualifications and desired attributes Education: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in siderurgy or related fields. Proven experience in developing conceptual studies, basic engineering or FEED as a leader in this activity Skills: Strong understanding of metallurgical principles, process simulation software, and quality control methodologies. We are looking for a project control Risk Engineer, who will execute all risk and opportunity control activities of the projects. Specific Duties: Prepare project risk management plan. Will be responsible for the risk management process for the entire life of the project both internal and Client, when contractually required. Experience facilitating client workshops is an essential requirement for this role. Identify risks and opportunities throughout the life of the project, defining the risk response strategy, action plan and risk owner. Follow up on: action plan, due dates and risk register update. Prepare the qualitative assessment using the appropriate tools: workshops, checklists, lessons learned, etc. Perform quantitative assessment using SRA for quarterly reporting. Requirements: Qualification: Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent. More than 5 years of work experience in international companies. Relevant experience in Oil & Gas and/or Energy EPC LSTK projects developed on the EPC Prime Contractor side. Willingness to travel. Proficient in English (C1) Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in English. Project management certification (PMP), as well as experience as a project engineer will be an asset. Experience with Primavera P6, Primavera Risk Analysis (PRA) or similar, @Risk, PDRI is a plus. Experience and knowledge of project management / project control tools and software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc.). Experience leading client workshops.
