This is a commercial build-and-scale mandate. We are seeking a Director of Luxury Rentals to design, lead and optimise a high-performance rental engine with full ownership of revenue growth, profitability and operational structure. You will control the strategy, the team performance, the CRM ecosystem and the portfolio expansion roadmap. This is a P&L driven leadership role with direct impact on company growth. Your core objectives Build a scalable, high-performance rental division Drive revenue, margin optimisation and portfolio growth Lead, mentor and hold accountable a commercially driven team Embed structure, discipline and performance culture Position VDB as a dominant player in Barcelona’s prime rental segment Key responsibilities Commercial Leadership Own the rental revenue target and profitability metrics Define and execute rental acquisition and hunting strategy Act as escalation lead on high-value negotiations Establish clear KPIs: occupancy rate, average rental value, time-to-let, pipeline velocity, portfolio growth Build strategic collaborations with selected market-leading agencies Portfolio & landlord acquisition Secure and expand relationships with luxury property landlords Oversee inbound and outbound property acquisition Lead pricing strategy and rental valuation optimisation Refine and continuously elevate the VDB landlord pitch Operational scale & CRM mastery Own and optimise the HubSpot ecosystem automation, dashboards, forecasting Build scalable workflows, SOPs and reporting structures Partner with Digital/Product to remove friction and improve conversion rates Ensure full compliance with Barcelona rental regulation Oversee documentation, financial coordination and internal alignment Client & Brand positioning Elevate the white-glove rental experience for international tenants Maintain long-term relationships with premium landlords and relocation clients Monitor market intelligence, regulatory changes and pricing shifts Provide strategic insights to leadership on expansion and positioning Who You Are A proven commercial leader with 7–10+ years in revenue-driven environments Experienced in scaling teams and building structured sales engines Comfortable owning targets, margins and accountability A CRM power user, preferably HubSpot, capable of building systems, not just operating them Commercially sharp with strong negotiation authority in high-value environments Entrepreneurial yet structured, able to build from zero without chaos Experienced in luxury, premium services or prime real estate environments Most importantly: You think in terms of market share. You operate with speed but protect margins. You build systems that outlive individual performers. You are motivated by growth, control and long-term positioning.
