Key Responsibilities 1. Architecture Governance & Solution Design Act as the ultimate Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Design Authority for all SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules, including New General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA). Lead detailed architectural design, requirements gathering, and Fit-to-Standard / Fit-Gap analysis workshops directly with executive client stakeholders. Leverage enterprise modeling practices to build locally compliant, globally scalable business process frameworks, steering the client away from unnecessary customization. 1. Technical Integration & Delivery Control Oversee the end-to-end technical workstream (Build, Test, Deploy) for SAP S/4HANA digital finance transformations. Partner closely with internal technical benches, middleware engineers, and off-shore ABAP/CPI developers to map data interfaces, design custom workflows, and configure standard/custom IDoc flows. Challenge and validate external vendors and technical teams to ensure all financial migration objects are compliant, thoroughly tested, and audit-ready. 1. Program Governance & Defect Triage Support standard PMO practices by proactively managing the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) matrix across finance integrations. Drive disciplined testing cycles (SIT, UAT), authoring integrated test scenarios, managing defect triage loops, and establishing post-go-live hypercare support structures. Ensure absolute transparency of workstream health through structured milestone reporting and sprint/release documentation. 1. Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with client-side finance executives (CFOs, Finance Directors, and Country Controllers) to smooth organizational change fatigue. Coordinate cross-functional alignments between SAP Finance and adjacent supply chain modules (SD, MM, PP) to preserve end-to-end process integrity (e.g., Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay). Required Qualifications and Experience Minimum 7+ years of progressive SAP FICO consulting and architecture delivery experience. Proven track record of delivering at least 2 full-lifecycle greenfield or large- scale transformation implementations on SAP S/4HANA. Deep functional understanding of European financial localizations, regulatory frameworks, tax compliance, and multi-currency reporting. Extensive experience operating within an international delivery model coordinating cross-functional offshore development benches (e.g., India).
