Company Description The King's Head Pub, located in Bordeaux, celebrates the rich history and cultural ties between Britain and Southwest France. Spanning three floors, the pub offers diverse spaces to relax, socialize, enjoy darts, watch sports, or savour a meal from a menu inspired by both French and English cuisine. Open 6 days a week, guests are warmly welcomed to indulge in fine drinks, with a Happy Hour from Tuesday to Friday evenings and late-night digestifs. The King's Head is a place for creating memorable experiences in a friendly and cozy atmosphere. Role Description We are seeking a full-time Bartender for our Pub, restaurant in Bordeaux. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the Pub. Responsibilities include taking food and drink orders, ensuring accurate cash handling, maintaining stock levels, ensure the smooth running of evening and group events and the closing of the Pub and collaborating with team members to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Updating social media with posts of Pub events and daily menus are now an integral part of the bartending role. Qualifications • Proficient in Bartending and Food & Beverage preparation, • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills, • Experience with Cash Handling and payment processing, • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment in a fast-paced setting, • Basic knowledge of local and international beverages and cocktails, • Understanding of social media and means of posting menus and events, • Ability to communicate in French and English is highly preferred
