Butcher required in Chingford, London
Position: Butcher
.Employer: A&A Halal Meat and Grocery Limited T/A Chingford Halal Meat and Grocery
Location: Chingford, London
Education: Minimum Educated to college level
Salary: ranging from £39,000 to £39,500 plus seasonal bonus opportunity;
Minimum salary guarantee: £39,000.00
Working days / hours: 40 hours 5 days a week , (8 hour shifts with 30 minutes paid break)
Benefits & Entitlements: 28 days paid holiday and other facilities
Prospects: Salary review; recognition and reward for outstanding performance and commitment
Duties:
· Open the meat section everyday ensuring proper hygiene standards are maintained.
· Decorate the display section with several cuts of meats in order to highlight our stock and choice of cuts available.
· Ensure that the pricing of meats are accurate as to the portion sold and keep up with other competitive butchers.
· Assist and learn from the Master Butcher with hopes of covering for him during his day off.
· Ensures that shop staff is aware of hygiene requirements for raw meat and poultry
· work closely with the retail manager to ensure that meat supply remains intact between deliveries
