Chef De Partie
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Chef De Partie to join our hard working and professional kitchen team. Using fresh produce with a seasonal changing menu and an emphasis on local produce.
Reporting to the Head & Sous Chef, you will assist the team in ensuring that all duties within the Kitchen are carried out according to the procedures set out by Health and Safety Laws.
Chef de Partie :
Running a section but may be required to assist with food preparation of other sections.
Assisting with stocktaking, management of kitchen hygiene, food storage and supervising.
Reporting to the Head & Sous Chef.
Working effectively within the Kitchen team to ensure high level of service standards
Checking that all food is stored and used in rotation to eliminate wastage and adhere to the Health and Hygiene Laws
Following close down procedure at the end of shift to ensure safety of equipment and security of produce is maintained
The ideal candidate will have: NVQ Level 2/3 in Food production or other related culinary skills qualification
Excellent communication skills and enjoys motivating the team
1 year experience preferred.
Excellent awareness of food hygiene standards.
