We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to work across a variety of secondary schools in Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to gain experience across different school settings, subjects, and year groups while maintaining full control over your working schedule. ?? The Role As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will: • Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, • Teach your specialist subject where possible, with opportunities for general cover, • Maintain a focused and productive classroom environment, • Manage behaviour in line with school policies, • Adapt teaching styles to suit different abilities and learning needs, • ?? Day-to-day supply, • ?? Short-term placements, • ?? Long-term or ongoing roles ?? Subjects in Demand We are particularly interested in teachers with specialisms in: • English, • Maths, • Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), • Humanities (History, Geography, RE), • Modern Foreign Languages, • Design Technology ? Requirements To apply, you should have: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, • Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred), • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, • A flexible, professional, and reliable approach, • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), • Two recent professional references ?
