Stockroom Manager

Brief overview of the role:

We are looking for someone who is well organised, highly motivated, and responsible, to take over control of stock management in a busy factory and yard producing timber playground equipment.

You will have an eye for detail and ensure that stock is always well catalogued and secure.

Report on stock levels to ensure systems are up to date, and fabricators are well supplied.

Collect and deliver goods to local suppliers as and when required.

Oversee goods in and out, as well as organising regular stock takes.

You will be required to be proactive in your approach to work with a good attitude to problem-solving.

Wage: £19,000.00-£27,000. OTE £30,000.00 DOE

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensure stock areas are clean and well organised

Reorganise stock areas for efficency

Organise and report on routine stock takes

Report on stock shortages proactively

Control stock in/out – ensure booking forms and stock bays are used daily

Oversee collection and delivery of items locally for additional finishing (powder coating etc)

Picking stock for delivery from stock system reports

Organising loading and factory sheets

Logging and stocking returns

Oversee goods in
