    Job description Self Employed Role experienced courier required for immediate start from 2026 permanent placement for route/ radius. Can start earlier to see train on the route prior to start date. You’ll be Working in the bromley/ beckenham/ orpington area/ Hextable/ Swanley requirements - experienced drivers only depot is located in the croydon area. start time 6am (loading and sorting material) finish time 6pm (leaving route and heading back to croydon) break times are included and depends on your speed (stops per hour) upto 85/90 stops a day can be more. (delivery and collections) monday to friday (with additional overtime if you want it) if you meet the above and below requirements please apply must haves; EXPERIENCE IN DRIVING CITRON RELAY SIZE VANS IS MUST. What we need: DBS Certificate no older then 30 days Right to work in UK or British passport NI Card Drivers License + Share code Bank or utilities bill - no older then 3 months 5 year reference either work of professional. Key Areas · Activity planning · Liaison · Supervision and care of children · Direct playwork · Health and safety · Miscellaneous Duties and Responsibilities Activity Planning · To provide safe, creative and appropriate play opportunities including preparing activities, organisation programmes and arranging equipment · To ensure that all activities are carried out within an equal opportunity framework. · To undertake any necessary training including a nationally recognised playwork course. · To encourage community wide participation and activity planning and delivery. Liaison · To develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents to facilitate day to day caring needs. · To encourage parental involvement and support through the development of effective working relationships. · To consult with the children and involve them in the planning of activities. Supervision and care of children · Ensure that activities are carried out in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Statutory responsibilities. · Ensure that food provision is carried out within the guidelines of the Food and Safety Act 1990, it is balanced and healthy in accordance with dietary requirements. Direct Playwork · Help the coordinator to ensure that a wide range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered. · Ensure that play meets full range of children’s individual and group needs. Health and safety · To ensure the good standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times. · To be responsible for the Health and Safety standards, appropriate for the needs of the children. · Recording of any accidents in the accident book. · Ensure child is collected by someone known to Beams of Light staff · Recording of any accidents in the accident book · To ensure confidentiality of information at work is adhered. · Ensure to provide a good quality check on the equipment and the children’s play environment before the after school care session.
