A friendly Good primary in Richmond is recruiting an experienced and nurturing Reception Teacher to join its Early Years team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Reception Teacher will begin planning and handover prior to the January 2026 start, attend induction sessions in January 2026, and be fully teaching from January 2026 as the Reception Teacher. Reception Teacher Responsibilities • As Reception Teacher you will plan and deliver creative, language-rich continuous provision and focused adult-led sessions as the Reception Teacher. • The Reception Teacher will lead daily phonics, early reading and early maths routines, assessing children against the Early Learning Goals and planning next steps as the Reception Teacher. • The Reception Teacher will engage families, lead transition into Year 1 and contribute to whole-school events; the Reception Teacher will attend induction in January 2026 and be teaching from January 2026 as a Full-Time Reception Teacher. Reception Teacher Requirements • QTS/EYTS or equivalent and proven Reception experience expected of the Reception Teacher. • A Reception Teacher who is reflective, organised and passionate about early learning. • Available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach as a Full-Time Reception Teacher from January 2026.
