Reporting to: Head of Technical Services Department: Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO) Location: Sywell Aerodrome / Hybrid An Exciting Opportunity in Rotary Aviation Sloane Helicopters is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated CAMO Engineer / ARC Signatory to join our renowned Continuing Airworthiness Management (CAMO) team at Sywell Aerodrome. You’ll be part of a highly professional and respected organisation managing a diverse fleet of rotorcraft across a range of operations — from HEMS to ATO to Part ML. What You'll do • Carry out all delegated responsibilities defined within the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and associated procedures., • Organise and carry out Airworthiness Reviews (ARCs) for the purposes of continued validation or recommendation of Certificate of Airworthiness / Export Certificate of Airworthiness., • Create, review, and develop Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP)., • Provide support and training to the CAMO team in order to maintain high levels of competency., • Effective communication and maintenance planning with Sloane AOC, Part 145 and customers., • Support the sales team in the technical acceptance of new and used aircraft., • Review and approve variations to the AMPs., • Review, process and apply aircraft publications including ADs, SBs, modifications and appropriate regulatory updates (UK CAA, EASA, Isle of Man etc), • Host customer and regulatory audits or liaison meetings and respond to audit findings., • Support and develop the company’s SMS, including safety case investigations., • Perform any other duties required for the CAMO. What We're Looking For • A candidate who is acceptable as an ARC signatory to support the recommendation/issue/extension of ARCs and CoA process., • Rotorcraft experience is desirable as is formal Part CAMO, 145 and SMS training from a Part 147 organisation., • Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel as required., • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team.
