This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of the Single Aisle aircraft programme, helping industrialise key modifications and ensuring smooth integration into production.If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and driving meaningful improvements, this role offers a truly exciting platform to grow your career.What you'll be doingAs a Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring Airbus can deliver high-quality aircraft efficiently and safely. Your responsibilities will include:Core Responsibilities • Translating design intent into clear, controlled technical instructions and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) data for aircraft manufacture, assembly, testing, and certification., • Preparing detailed work definitions such as routings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Statements of Instruction (SOIs), and STV calculations., • Implementing best-practice methods, tools and processes to meet current and future production requirements., • Ensuring all processes and documentation comply with departmental procedures and regulatory standards., • Managing and improving manufacturing methods, tools, and processes across detail manufacture, assembly, testing, and certification., • Assessing manufacturing capacity, identifying improvements, and recommending design changes where needed., • A strong understanding of lean principles., • Familiarity with business management tools, ideally SAP., • Confidence working from first principles across manufacturing disciplines., • Experience within Manufacturing Engineering, Design, or related business systems., • Knowledge of aircraft production methods and procedures (highly desirable)., • Ability to build effective relationships across engineering and operational teams., • Competitive pay rates:, • £37.02/hour (umbrella), • £27.68/hour PAYE, • Develop specialist expertise within a world-leading aerospace manufacturer., • Join a supportive engineering community with access to cutting-edge tools and technology., • Work in a stable, long-term assignment with potential for extension., • Work Pattern: 35 hours per week across 4.5 days, with flexibility between 7am-7pm., • Travel: Not required.
