Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer (Permanent) Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire Working hours: DAYS Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm Salary: £40,000 - £42,000k P/A DOE + company car + OT/Call out + package benefits The Opportunity Our client is a leading and growing manufacturer of high-performance polythene packaging to the European marketplace, and is now looking to recruit an experienced Electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering & maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term career in a stable, team-oriented and growing environment. Working on a straight days Monday to Friday, you will play a key role in maintaining extrusion equipment, reducing downtime, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards across the site. This role would suit an experienced Maintenance Electrician, who also is happy to assist with mechanical and general site maintenance duties. Key duties & responsibilities • Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks across a range of extrusion equipment – sensors, relays, motors, drives, control panels, wiring etc., • Respond quickly and safely to breakdowns, minimising downtime., • Work with the maintenance Manager and team to deliver continuous improvement initiatives., • Support equipment installations and upgrades due to expansion, • Complete PPM schedules and close down work orders on the maintenance system., • Carry out daily and weekly compliance checks.
