This is a high‑profile role on a £Bn project where you’ll be central to ensuring design solutions are compliant, cost‑effective, and deliverable - while managing complex stakeholder relationships across clients, consultants, and Tier 1 supply chain partners. Key Responsibilities • Ensure designs meet statutory and employer requirements, while identifying opportunities for value engineering., • Highlight risks, omissions, or errors in tender/project documentation and advise on mitigation strategies., • Work closely with planning and construction teams to align design with buildability and sequencing., • Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, driving collaboration and clear communication., • Support governance processes and contribute to best practice in design management. About You • Professional membership (CIOB, RICS, ICE, RIBA) preferred., • Experience as a Design Manager on £100m+ projects, ideally in industrial or infrastructure sectors., • Strong knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations., • Excellent stakeholder management and client engagement skills., • Background in consultancy or Tier 1 contracting welcomed.
