J722051 £60K- £140K / Year Near Darlington, North East England A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an ECVS Diplomate, Advanced Practitioner, or certificate holder in Small Animal Internal Medicine to join a brand-new, independent small animal referral hospital near Darlington. This role is ideal for a clinician who wants to help shape a state-of-the-art internal medicine service while working alongside passionate specialists in a collaborative environment. Both part-time and full-time applications are considered. • Competitive salary £60,000 - £140,000 DOE, dependent on experience and qualifications, • Flexible working schedule with genuine work-life balance, • Independent hospital ethos; your expertise and input are valued, • Opportunity to influence the development of the internal medicine service from day one, • Purpose-built referral hospital with cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment tools, including Siemens 1.5T MRI, Siemens CT scanner, Karl Storz endoscopy and rigid scope systems, Mindray Doppler ultrasound scanner, and other advanced imaging and treatment equipment, • Ultrasound-guided FNA and biopsy experience, • Endoscopy experience, • Preference for Echocardiography experience, • Deliver high-quality internal medicine care for referral patients, • Collaborate closely with a Diplomate Soft Tissue Surgeon and other referral clinicians, • Contribute to shaping and developing the internal medicine service, • Work in a fully equipped hospital environment with advanced diagnostic capabilities, • Flexible part-time or full-time working options, • Genuine work-life balance, • BVSc or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK, • RCVS registration (or eligibility), • ECVS Diplomate, Advanced Practitioner, or certificate holder in Small Animal Internal Medicine, • Experience in referral internal medicine and confident with advanced diagnostics, • Positive, collaborative approach and commitment to patient care This is a unique chance to join a brand-new independent referral hospital in the North East, with a supportive team, modern facilities, and the freedom to develop your clinical expertise.
