Join a leading food production team where comprehensive training and career development opportunities await in a supportive, fast-paced environment.We are looking for Food Production OperativesLocation: Northwich, CW9Immediate startNo experience neededShifts are 4 on 4 off, 2 days of 7am-7pm, 2 nights of 7pm to 7amPay rates: £12.71 £15.89 (Overtime Available)Temp to permMach Recruitment is recruiting for several Skilled Food Production Operatives to work in a large food production and distribution site in Northwich.The Role:As a Skilled Food Production Operative, you will be working within a food production environment, and your duties will be as follows:Assess own area of work for risks/hazards ensuring H&S processes and procedures are being observed.General production operation of a wide range of equipment (role specific) across the operation to deliver site standard and achieve the overall production plan.Machine set up, Routine maintenance and first line trouble shooting in order to ensure machinery runs to its optimum (Bakery Specific))Capable of working in small teams to achieve quality products and meet production targets.Quality checks to deliver product quality to required standardsFood safety compliance, process control paperwork which includes traceability, CCP (critical control points) documentationAdjusting line operation for changes in productGeneral hygiene, ensuring high standards of hygiene on plant and surrounding areasParticipate and contribute in the sharing of Best Practice involvement in identifying/implementing Continuous Improvement techniques to generate process improvements,Adhere to SOPs, CICs, SSOWs, WIs, procedures and risk assessments.Full knowledge of manual handling requirements.Requirements:As a Skilled Food Production Operative you will have the following skills and experience:Demonstrate a good level of Health and Food Safety awarenessGood verbal and written communication skills with Ability to follow instructions and to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracyOne years experience in a manufacturing organisation, preferably food or similar with a willingness to work across a flexible shift patternAbility to work alone or as part of a team and understand the importance of team work and communicationYou will have a good attention to detail, with problem solving / decision-making capability skillsUnderstanding of Continuous Improvement techniquesComputer Literate including SAP knowledge / Stevens systemAdvantageous to have a good understanding of the Baking ProcessFood Safety level 2Benefits:Weekly payTraining givenTemp to perm opportunityFriendly environmentFree parkingAccessible by busMach Recruitment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.TPBN1_UKTJ
