Housekeeper Kitwood House Care Home L&M Healthcare provide expert care in a luxurious home-from-home environment. We specialise in personalised general nursing and dementia care that develops, sustains, and where possible, improves mental and motor skills. We are looking for a Housekeeper to assist with laundering and housekeeping duties at Kitwood House Nursing Home. This is a 40-hour per week vacancy and alternative weekend shifts will be required. Duties Included (but not limited to) • Sort washing into relevant groups where applicable and process through the washer, dryer and iron., • Keep clean and dirty linen separate within the laundry area., • Follow infection control procedures at all times. The following priorities apply: • Bedding, • Towels, • Residents personal laundry, • Serviettes, • Tea towels Additional responsibilities include: • Returning the Homes washing to the linen cupboard and kitchen., • Ensuring any clothes that are not marked are named and placed in the appropriate boxes after laundering., • Vacuuming bedrooms and corridors., • Mopping floors., • Dusting and cleaning glass and mirrors., • Cleaning bathrooms and toilets.What We Offer, • Your birthday off work (not included in holiday entitlement)., • Competitive pay with opp...
