Managing Quantity Surveyor Civils | Kent £85,000 £90,000 + Package Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Projects Are you a Managing Quantity Surveyor or an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step up? We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major civils and infrastructure projects across Kent. This is a senior commercial role offering £85k£90k plus an attractive package, along with clear progression opportunities across a well-established group. Youll be working on high-profile, complex civil engineering schemes with long-term workload and career security. The Role Managing Quantity Surveyor (Civils) As Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will lead all commercial and contractual activities on a major civil engineering project in Kent. You will take full ownership of financial performance, cash flow and value recovery while leading and developing a team of Quantity Surveyors. Key responsibilities include: Commercial and contractual management of civil engineering projects Leadership and development of a Quantity Surveying team Cost control, forecasting, reporting and value engineering Managing variations, change control and final accounts Building strong client and stakeholder relationships About You Managing or Senior Quantity Surveyor This role is ideal for a Managing Quantity Surveyor or a Senior Quantity Surveyor ready to progress into a managing-level role. You will ideally have: Strong experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects Background with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil engineering contractor Proven leadership and communication skills Experience at Senior QS or Managing QS level A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Membership or accreditation with RICS, CIOB or ICES (or working towards) Candidates with solid Senior Quantity Surveyor experience who are seeking a clear route into a Managing Quantity Surveyor position are strongly encouraged to apply.
