As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of AV equipment, helping to ensure events are delivered smoothly and to a high professional standard. \n Your responsibilities will include: \n\n • Setting up and operating AV equipment for live, hybrid and virtual conferences and events.\n, • Operating camera, video and IT equipment.\n, • Supporting live streaming and virtual event productions.\n, • Working with Blackmagic ATEM systems.\n, • Editing and delivering video footage to a high standard, preferably using DaVinci Resolve.\n, • Liaising with clients, colleagues and event crews before and during events.\n, • Preparing, testing and maintaining AV equipment.\n, • Driving company vehicles to event locations.\n, • \n\n We are looking for an experienced AV professional with a background in the corporate live events sector. \n You will ideally have: \n\n • Experience working in live corporate events.\n, • Strong camera, video and IT skills.\n, • Experience with live streaming and ideally Blackmagic ATEM.\n, • Experience with video editing software, preferably DaVinci Resolve.\n, • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Keynote, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and similar platforms.\n, • Excellent communication and customer service skills.\n, • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.\n, • The ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.\n, • A professional appearance and manner.\n, • A flexible, positive and can-do attitude.\n, • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\n, • A full UK driving licence.\n\n Applicants must be based locally to the Manchester area. Working Hours\n The standard working pattern is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm. \n Due to the nature of the live events industry, flexibility is essential. Some evening, early morning and weekend work will be required depending on the event schedule.
