Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician - Accident Repair Centre Bradford \n\nLocation: Bradford, West Yorkshire\n\nJCT600 ARC Bradford is looking for an experienced Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician to join our accident repair centre team. JCT600 ARC Bradford is a leading repairer, trusted by insurers, manufacturers and drivers across the UK. Our Bodyshop combines manufacturer-approved repair methods, modern equipment, and a strong focus on quality, safety and customer care.\n\nAs an MET Technician, you will carry out high-quality mechanical, electrical and trim work on a wide range of vehicles following accident damage, working closely with our body and paint teams to deliver right-first-time repairs.\n\nYour day to day will include:\n\nStripping and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components on damaged vehicles in line with job card instructions\nChecking parts against the job card during strip and reporting any additional parts or damage to the Workshop Controller\nCarrying out mechanical and electrical repairs in line with manufacturer repair methods\nAccurately diagnosing faults and identifying any hidden damage\nPerforming wheel alignment, geometry, suspension and steering checks and adjustments\nCompleting quality check sheets at each stage of the repair process\nRecording work carried out on job cards and updating systems accurately\nAir-con re-gas and ADAS calibration preparation where trained to do so\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n\nProven experience as an MET Technician or Vehicle Technician in a bodyshop or accident repair environment\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in light vehicle maintenance, repair or accident repair\nStrong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills\nAbility to interpret repair methods, technical data and bodyshop job cards\nHigh attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship\nGood communication and teamwork skills\nFull, clean UK driving licence\nYour own tool set\n\nDesirable:\n\nATA / IMI MET accreditation, or actively working towards it\nAir conditioning certification (or equivalent meeting EC 307/2008 requirements)\nEV/HEV component removal and replacement qualification\nFour wheel alignment certification\n\nWhat we offer\nComprehensive package + bonus\nAnnual leave: 34 days including bank holidays, increasing to 36 days (5 years) and 38 days (10 years)\nFamily support: Enhanced paid maternity and paternity leave\nWellbeing & protection: Life assurance, pension, enhanced sickness cover\nTraining & development: From foundation to advanced levels through brand partner training and best-in-class leadership development.\nColleague car purchase scheme & servicing discounts\nCycle-to-work and discounted gym schemes\nReferral scheme up to £1,000\n\nRead more about our \n\nWhy JCT600? \n\nWe’ve spent over 75 years building a business that values its people and their careers\nWe pride ourselves on being rated highly by colleagues for engagement and inclusivity\nOur commitment to your growth is reflected in our “” philosophy and seven colleague commitments\n\nHow to apply \n\nAt JCT600, you’re always a name, never a number.
