Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Supervisor/Assistant Manager to join The Golden Anchor team. In this role, you will support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the pub while maintaining our high standards of customer service. You’ll lead the front-of-house team, manage shifts, and play a key role in creating a friendly and efficient atmosphere. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene regulations are followed and that the pub is a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests. • Financial Responsibilities: Assist with cash handling, daily reconciliation, and other financial duties as required by the General Manager. • Event Support: Help coordinate and oversee pub events, including live music nights and special Caribbean-themed occasions, to ensure they run smoothly and enhance the guest experience. • Stand-In for Management: Step in to manage the pub in the absence of the General Manager, ensuring continuity of service and operations.
