    Care Workers & Support Workers 📍 Ealing Supporting individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Care Workers and Support Workers to join our team in the Hounslow area. You will be supporting children and young adults with Autism and learning disabilities, helping them to live safe, meaningful, and fulfilling lives. About the Role As a Care/Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support in line with individual care plans. Your role will focus on promoting independence, emotional wellbeing, and social inclusion. Key responsibilities include: • Providing daily support tailored to individual needs, • Assisting with personal care (where required), • Supporting with routines, education, and community activities, • Encouraging communication, social interaction, and life skills, • Managing behaviours that may challenge with patience and professionalism, • Working closely with families, professionals, and multidisciplinary teams, • Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures About You We are looking for individuals who are: • Caring, patient, and empathetic, • Passionate about supporting individuals with Autism and learning disabilities, • Reliable and committed to providing high-quality care, • Able to work independently and as part of a team, • Good communicators with a calm and positive approach Experience is desirable but not essential — full training and ongoing support will be provided.     Quality of Life Homecare Ltd – Queensbury, London Hours: 20–25 hours per week (flexible) Salary: £15-20 per hour (depending on experience) Join Our Team Quality of Life Homecare Ltd is a well-established and growing domiciliary care provider supporting people across North West London. With approximately 120 employees, we are looking for an experienced and highly organised Senior Payroll and Accounts Officer to manage our payroll and day-to-day finance functions. This role would particularly suit an experienced payroll manager, finance officer, bookkeeper, or retired/semi-retired accountant seeking a rewarding and flexible part-time position. Key Responsibilities • Manage weekly and monthly payroll for approximately 120 employees, • Ensure accurate PAYE, National Insurance, pension, and HMRC submissions., • Administer workplace pensions and auto-enrolment., • Process staff expenses and travel claims., • Maintain purchase and sales ledgers., • Raise invoices and reconcile customer payments., • Carry out bank reconciliations., • Monitor cash flow, debtor balances, and credit control., • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports., • Liaise with the external accountant regarding month-end and year-end accounts., • Maintain accurate payroll and financial records., • Ensure compliance with HMRC, employment legislation, and financial procedures., • Identify opportunities to improve payroll and financial processes. Essential Requirements • At least 5 years' experience in payroll and accounts., • Strong knowledge of PAYE, RTI, pensions, and HMRC regulations., • Experience using payroll and accounting software such as BrightPay, Xero, or QuickBooks., • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills., • High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail., • Excellent organisational and communication skills., • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Desirable • AAT qualification or equivalent., • Experience within the health or social care sector., • Knowledge of payroll for shift workers and variable-hour employees.
