Based in our London office with some European travel.\n\n \n\n • Reporting to the Senior Regulatory & Quality Affairs Manager, you will support the continued development and maintenance of an effective Quality System and ensure that products comply with applicable regulatory and industry requirements across Europe.\n, • You will coordinate product release activities, OOS investigations, deviations, complaints, and manufacturer-led investigations. You will ensure contract manufacturers adhere to Quality Agreements and manage the relationships with them, including all change control activities.\n\n \n \n \n Key Responsibilities: \n \n Ensure compliance of H&H standards, processes, and regulatory requirements: \n \n\n • Ensure conformity of pet food and food supplement products sold in the UK and EU, taking into account all relevant standards and regulations.\n, • Write, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).\n, • Coordinate product testing activities, including stability, microbiological testing, and palatability assessments.\n, • Generate and review production specifications with high accuracy and attention to detail.\n, • Manage specifications and out-of-specification (OOS) investigations.\n, • Review and maintain Certificates of Analysis (COAs).\n, • Oversee product release processes.\n, • Review and evaluate formulations to ensure regulatory compliance.\n, • Review labelling, marketing materials, packaging, and digital documentation to ensure compliance.\n, • Participate in relationships, meetings, and audits with Europe-wide contract manufacturers (CMs).\n, • Lead preparations for inspections and audits.\n, • Follow up on CAPAs and deviations and initiate and implement change controls through the eQMS.\n, • Review and investigate customer complaints.\n, • Engage in cross-functional activities and global projects.\n, • Provide quality expertise to internal stakeholders across Regulatory, Product Development, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, Digital, and Marketing teams.\n, • Communicate potential risks clearly and proactively, proposing appropriate solutions or alternatives.\n, • Continuously review processes and identify opportunities for improvement.\n, • Support and promote brand-specific benchmark standards.\n, • Collaborate with internal teams to manage safety-related reports (FSA, EFSA), internal data processing, and analysis.\n, • Stay up to date with regulatory and quality requirements and changes.\n, • Anticipate and implement legislative requirements as needed.\n, • Manage various business-driven projects.\n, • Continuously assess personal performance and discuss development through regular appraisals.\n, • Contribute to a positive, proactive, and collaborative workplace culture.\n\n \n \n \n Desired Skills and Experience: \n \n To make sure we are setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: \n \n\n • A degree or equivalent in a science discipline.\n, • Minimum 5 years of experience in pet food, feed or food sectors, within Manufacturing, QA, QC.\n, • A solid working knowledge of Quality Systems, Risk Management and Compliance.\n, • Knowledge of UK and EU regulatory requirements for feed or food.\n, • International regulatory experience is an advantage.\n, • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.\n, • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.\n, • Champion for process excellence and quality standards across operations.\n, • Experience in driving change, with a pragmatic and collaborative approach whilst maintaining quality standards.Cross-functional\n, • Cross functional problem solving and decision making, with a solutions-oriented mindset.\n, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficient computer skills.\n, • Results-driven, detail-oriented and proactive.\n, • Customer service oriented with a positive, flexible and diligent approach.\n, • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.\n, • Comfort managing ambiguity and complex issues simultaneously.\n, • Strong ability to prioritise and organise in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment.\n, • Strategic mindset aligned with business objectives.\n\n \n \n \n Benefits: \n\n • H&H Group offers flexible, hybrid working.
