The Role: QA Engineer Location: London HQ Hybrid working and flexible hours: 4 days in the office and 1 WFH. Novatus Global is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will own the testing strategy, ensuring that all new features and releases are thoroughly tested before deployment. You will be responsible for implementing automated testing to maintain high-quality standards across the platform and reduce manual effort wherever possible. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering reliable software in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Key Responsibilities • Own the QA and testing strategy, ensuring that all new features and releases are properly checked before deployment., • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests to improve coverage and efficiency of the QA process., • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test plans., • Conduct manual testing where automated coverage is not yet feasible, ensuring that all functionality works as intended., • Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution., • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices to maintain high-quality standards., • Participate in release planning and provide QA input to ensure risk is minimised before client deployments., • Champion quality assurance best practices across the team and promote a culture of testing and reliability. About You: • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Test Analyst, or similar role., • Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or similar)., • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies., • Experience with test planning, execution, and defect management., • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment workflows., • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail., • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders., • Experience working in regulated industries (finance, fintech, RegTech, or similar) is advantageous.
