Person Specification • A passion for hospitality and being an awesome barista! (or willingness to become one)., • Friendly, personable and approachable., • Enjoys being part of a team which provides high quality customer service., • Qualified Barista (Desirable, training will be provided)., • Excellent communication skills and personal presentation., • Basic food hygiene knowledge or a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or willingness to complete)., • Able to work efficiently during busy times without losing attention to detail., • Confidence in operating till systems., • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and evenings as required., • Ability to stand for long periods and carry out light to moderate physical tasks., • This role is based in a space that provides childcare, so you will need a DBS check (paid for by us). Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community and attract new families. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and any incidents that occur within the nursery. Ensure the nursery is a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children. Be responsible, alongside manager for safeguarding. Will be required to hold deputy safeguarding lead role. Training provided as necessary. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years Room leading experience or nursery deputy management role. A qualification in Early Years/Childcare at Level 3 and above is essential. Safeguarding lead experience is desired. SENCO experience is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for childcare and early years education. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided at the nursery.
