We are a well-established UK wholesale business supplying a wide range of quality products to customers nationwide. We are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of outbound equipment shipments and collections. This is an important role within the business, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods through third-party transport providers. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the daily running of outbound deliveries, collections, and equipment shipments, • Schedule and submit transport requests to third-party courier partners in line with agreed timelines, • Act as the main point of contact for couriers and customers regarding logistics queries, • Monitor daily operations and proactively manage any changes, issues, or additional charges, • Raise and manage purchase orders and ensure all relevant shipment documentation is accurately prepared, • Raise and manage damage claims with courier partners where required, • Maintain clear and effective communication across internal teams and external partners About You We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be able to demonstrate: • Strong administration and customer service skills, • Excellent IT ability (experience with Microsoft Navision is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided), • High levels of accuracy, dependability, and attention to detail, • Ability to prioritise workload and make effective decisions under pressure, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • A proactive approach with the confidence to use initiative, • A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Hours Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:00 We are a well-established UK wholesale business supplying a wide range of quality products to customers nationwide.
