    Role Overview The Harrow Dental Practice Ltd is seeking a qualified and dedicated Dentist to join our established dental practice in Hornchurch, Essex. Our practice provides a comprehensive range of NHS and private dental services, including general dentistry, preventive care, restorative dentistry, cosmetic treatments and dental implants. We are committed to delivering high-quality dental care tailored to the individual needs of our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosing oral health conditions, developing appropriate treatment plans and delivering a wide range of general and restorative dental treatments. The role involves managing patients' ongoing dental care, promoting preventive dentistry and working closely with our experienced team of dentists, dental hygienists and dental nurses. We are looking for a dentist with excellent clinical skills, sound professional judgement and a strong commitment to patient care, who can contribute to maintaining the high clinical standards and reputation of our practice. Duties • Conduct comprehensive dental examinations, assess patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions, including tooth decay, periodontal disease and other oral health problems., • Develop and implement individual treatment plans based on patients' clinical needs, medical histories and oral health assessments., • Provide a range of general and restorative dental treatments, including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal treatments, tooth extractions and other appropriate dental procedures., • Interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic information to support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning., • Deliver preventive dental care and provide patients with professional advice on oral hygiene, dietary habits and maintaining long-term oral health., • Assess and manage patients presenting with dental pain, infections and other dental emergencies, providing appropriate treatment or referrals where necessary., • Explain diagnoses, treatment options, associated risks and costs to patients, ensuring informed consent is obtained before treatment., • Monitor patients' progress following treatment and arrange appropriate follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care., • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records, including examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans and procedures undertaken., • Work closely with dental hygienists, dental nurses and other dental professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure the effective delivery of dental services., • Identify cases requiring specialist dental treatment and arrange appropriate referrals for orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery or dental implants., • Ensure all clinical procedures comply with General Dental Council (GDC) standards, Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirements, infection prevention and control procedures, and relevant health and safety regulations., • Keep up to date with developments in dentistry and participate in continuing professional development to maintain and improve clinical knowledge and skills. Who Are We Looking For • A recognised degree in Dentistry (BDS, DDS or equivalent)., • Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and eligibility to practise dentistry in the UK., • Relevant clinical experience in general dentistry, including dental examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning and restorative dental procedures., • Experience in providing both NHS and private dental treatments would be desirable., • Strong clinical judgement and the ability to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred dental care., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain dental procedures and treatment options clearly to patients., • A compassionate and professional approach to patient care, particularly when treating anxious patients or those requiring additional support., • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage patient appointments, treatment plans and clinical records effectively., • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with dental nurses, hygienists and other members of the dental team., • A commitment to maintaining high professional standards, patient confidentiality and continuing professional development.

    Mobile Tyre Fitter Job Description Job Title: Mobile Tyre Fitter / Mobile Tyre Technician Location: East London Reporting to Manager Employment Type: Full-time, Temporary with progression to Permanent Job Purpose The Mobile Tyre Fitter delivers high-quality tyre replacement, repair, and roadside assistance services directly to customers at their homes, workplaces, or stranded roadside locations. Operating from a fully equipped mobile service van, you will act as the face of the company, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional experience for every customer. Key Responsibilities and Duties 1. Technical & Service Delivery Remove, refit, repair, and balance tyres on cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles. Conduct accurate tyre safety inspections, checking tread depth, wear patterns, and inflation pressures. Assess tyre damage to determine if a safe repair is possible under national safety standards or if a replacement is required. Ensure all locking wheel nuts and vehicle components are handled safely and re-torqued to manufacturer specifications. 1. Mobile Fleet & Asset Management Drive and maintain a company-allocated mobile service vehicle in compliance with road safety laws. Conduct daily pre-journey van inspections (fluid levels, lights, tyre condition). Keep the mobile unit clean, organized, and stocked with adequate tyre inventory and consumables. Maintain all onboard specialist tools, including jacks, air compressors, and portable balancing machines. 1. Customer Service & Communication Travel efficiently to scheduled and emergency call-out appointments within your designated area. Provide professional advice to customers regarding tyre maintenance, safety standards, and legal requirements. Process payments on-site and accurately complete digital job sheets, risk assessments, and invoices via a company mobile device. 1. Health, Safety & Compliance Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations, particularly when working at the roadside or in public spaces. Correctly deploy safety equipment, including high-visibility clothing, cones, and beacons. Safely dispose of worn or damaged tyres in accordance with environmental policies. Requirements, Qualifications & Experience Experience: Minimum of 1 - 3 years of tyre-fitting experience (experience operating a mobile service van is highly desirable but not mandatory). Licence: A valid, clean UK driving licence is required. Physical Fitness: Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including regular lifting of tyres and heavy equipment. Technical Skills: Confident operating wheel balancers, tyre changers, and electronic diagnostic or tracking tools. Soft Skills: Strong time-management skills, a polite customer-facing manner, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision. Working Conditions & Benefits Hours: Standard shift patterns, which may include rotational weekends and participation in an on-call emergency rota. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and servicing to a high standard.
