An independent legal team within a leading insurance group is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its nationally recognised Crime & Regulatory team in Manchester. Ranked by Legal 500 and Chambers, the team advises businesses and professionals on fast-moving, sensitive and high-profile matters, with full training on internal practices and strong partner support. The Work You’ll handle a varied, intellectually challenging caseload spanning both contentious and non-contentious advice for insured and uninsured clients, including: • Inquests & public inquiries, • Professional discipline (healthcare experience advantageous) and police disciplinary matters, • Health & safety, environmental and licensing, • Ofsted/CQC registration, enforcement and entity regulation, • Business crime and criminal investigations (including interviews under caution), • Coverage analysis where required You’ll manage your own busy files, contribute to billing and KPIs, and supervise junior colleagues on appropriate matters.
