O&Z Services is seeking a reliable and customer-focused self-employed Handyman/Multi-Skilled Tradesperson. Your role will involve completing property improvement and maintenance tasks across Peterborough and nearby areas. We expect high-quality workmanship, clear communication with clients, and professional representation on-site. Key Responsibilities • Attend booked jobs punctually and complete work to a high standard., • Perform general handyman and property maintenance tasks, including:, • Communicate clearly with customers about issues and solutions., • Maintain clean and protected work areas, disposing of waste responsibly., • Capture before and after photos and provide updates on job progress., • Adhere to health and safety standards and company procedures. Required Skills and Experience • Proven experience in handyman/multi-trade roles, preferably in domestic property work., • Competence in using hand and power tools safely., • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines., • Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship., • Strong customer service and communication skills. Essential Requirements • Self-employed status with a UTR number preferred and ability to invoice., • Ownership of tools suitable for handyman and multi-trade work., • Smartphone for accessing job details, taking photos, and communication., • Ability to travel to jobs around Peterborough (driving licence preferred)., • Legal right to work in the UK. Desirable Qualifications • Plumbing or electrical qualifications for relevant tasks., • Painting and decorating portfolio., • Experience with landlords, letting agents, and snag lists., • DBS check.
