Job Description Overall, Purpose of the Role The Associate Assistant Principal for Mathematics will provide strategic leadership of Mathematics across the school, ensuring that high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement are embedded within the faculty and that numeracy and mathematical thinking are promoted across the curriculum. The post holder will contribute to the wider leadership of the school as part of the extended senior leadership team, supporting the implementation of whole-school improvement priorities, quality assurance, and staff development in line with the academy's vision and ethos. The ideal candidate will: Be an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics with a proven track record of excellent outcomes. Demonstrate strong leadership skills, capable of driving improvement and inspiring staff and students. Have experience in curriculum design, assessment strategy, and the use of data to raise attainment. Possess a clear understanding of whole-school improvement processes and quality assurance.
