Experienced Hairdresser Wanted for Local Salon (Opening August 20-21) I’m looking for a friendly and experienced hairdresser who is confident with all aspects of hairdressing, can manage their time effectively, and values working in a warm, welcoming environment. I’ve worked with great teammates in the past, and due to relocation, I’m now seeking a new colleague to join me in my newly opening salon. The salon is based in a local neighborhood and aims to offer a relaxed and flexible working space with a community feel. Position Details: Full-time or part-time freelance position available Flexible working hours (specific days or hours can be arranged) Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly pay options Pay starts from the national minimum wage (£11.44/hour) and can be increased depending on experience Commission-based or chair rental options also available, depending on your preference I’m a barber, and currently there’s no female hairdresser in the salon, so there is no competition — and unfortunately, no “competitive income” promises either. Hair Cutting and Styling: Cutting hair according to client instructions or latest trends. Styling hair for everyday looks or special events. Hair Coloring: Applying hair dyes, highlights, lowlights, and balayage. Advising on suitable colors based on skin tone and style. Hair Treatments: Providing services like deep conditioning, scalp treatments, keratin treatments, and perms. Offering solutions for hair damage or scalp issues. Client Consultation: Understanding the client’s needs and preferences. Recommending styles and treatments suitable for hair type and lifestyle. Customer Service: Creating a friendly and professional salon experience. Building long-term relationships with clients. Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene: Sterilizing tools and keeping the workstation clean. Following health and safety regulations. Product Knowledge and Sales: Recommending hair care products tailored to the client. Educating clients on how to maintain their hairstyle at home. Keeping Up with Trends: Staying informed about new techniques, tools, and hairstyles. Attending training sessions and hairdressing shows when possible.

We require hairstylist who has experience in health and beauty industry. They must have specialist training and knowledge, as well as having good customer relation service with strong personalities and communication skills.  Job requirement:a consultation and inspection of the hair's condition, including what the customer wants from their appointmentwashing the customer's hair and towel or blow-drying itperming or curling the customer's hair using specialist equipment often powered by high temperaturescolouring hair with bleaches, dyes and hennafitting artificial hair extensions, hair plugs and weaves naturally into the hairchemically straightening or relaxing customers' hairstyling wigs for customers They must be able to carrying out the following hair styles:Hair ExtensionWigsBraidingWeavesPlaitsHair Treatment Hair Retouching Track Extension KnotlessBox BraidsGhana BraidsHair Revamping Crochet Twist & locsHair Curling Additional skills:meet and greet clients to make them feel welcome in the salonorganise appointments and ensure start times run punctuallylearn what it is the client wants from the initial consultationoffer advice about potential styles that would suit the client and suggest ways to maintain the style when at homeadvise clients about scalp irritation and hair damage caused by certain treatmentshandle payments and keep accurate, secure financial records.
