Product Assurance Manager Salary: Up to £55,000 Location: Near Didcot (commutable from Oxford, Abingdon, Wantage, Wallingford, Newbury, Reading) Hours: Monday – Friday (flexibility required) Type: Permanent The Opportunity We’re supporting a cutting-edge engineering organisation at the forefront of advanced technology development, as they look to bring in a Product Assurance Manager to support multiple high-value projects. Why Apply? • Work on highly advanced, complex engineering projects, • 28 days holiday + bank holidays, • Flexible working hours, • Yearly healthcare bonus allowance, • Strong long-term career progression within a high-tech environment Product Assurance Manager Duties • Leading Product Assurance activities across multiple projects, • Owning the Non-Conformance (NCR) process from identification through to resolution, • Chairing reviews including design, assembly, test, and readiness gates, • Managing configuration control and change processes, • Producing and maintaining key PA documentation (PA plans, CoC, waivers, etc.), • Supporting manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test activities, • Acting as the main point of contact for customer quality/PA teams, • Conducting inspections including incoming, in-process, and final inspections, • Driving continuous improvement across QMS and project delivery, • Supporting supplier audits and wider business quality initiatives Product Assurance Manager Profile • Experience in Product Assurance / Quality Assurance, • Background in aerospace, space, or another regulated industry, • Strong understanding of quality standards (e.g. ECSS, ISO9001 or similar), • Experience managing non-conformance and root cause analysis, • Ability to read and understand engineering/manufacturing processes, • Strong communication skills – able to liaise with internal teams and customers, • Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident taking ownership of projects, • Degree/HNC in a relevant engineering or technical discipline Desirable: • Experience with ECSS or MIL standards, • Internal auditing experience, • Knowledge of configuration management, • Hands-on engineering or manufacturing background Interested?
