DescriptionRobert Half are pleased to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation based in Harwell to recruit a Payroll Analyst. The Payroll Analyst will receive a salary between 45,000-60,000 (potentially negotiable) along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working, a bonus and equity!Primary responsibilities; Manage the administration and processing of the company's monthly UK payroll and designated international payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.Administer day-to-day employee benefits programmes and provide support for ongoing benefit plan operations.Maintain a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, taxation, employment law and relevant HR regulations, ensuring continued compliance.Prepare year-end payroll reporting and statutory submissions.Support SOX compliance, internal controls and audit requirements.Participate in payroll system implementations, enhancements and reporting optimisation initiatives.Coordinate annual payroll changes including bonuses, salary reviews, promotions and market adjustments.Partner with Finance on budgeting, invoicing, accounting activities and other cross-functional initiatives.Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, including the use of automation and artificial intelligence to drive efficiency and improve the employee experience.Manage relationships with external payroll and benefits providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.Process tax withholdings relating to employee equity plans in partnership with the equity administration team.Provide payroll support and act as back-up for US and other international payrolls when required.Contribute to wider Global Rewards initiatives, supporting organisational growth and continuous improvement across payroll and benefits.Key experience and attributes; A minimum of five years' payroll experience,Proven UK payroll experience (essential), with exposure to global payrollsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsStrong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, taxation and employment regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.The resilience and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple competing deadlines.Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
