We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our 8th Floor Kitchen team at Broadwick Soho one of the most dynamic and varied culinary environments in London. Our 8th Floor Kitchen is the beating heart of the hotels food operation, producing menus across multiple outlets including Flute, our stunning rooftop bar and terrace, Private Dining, In Room Dining, and our Colleague Canteen. This particular role focuses on our Colleague Canteen and we want to be clear about why that matters. The food we serve our team is every bit as important to us as the food we serve our guests. On Target Earnings OTE £41,500 per annum | Hourly rate £15.31 | Based on 40 hours per week | Estimated tronc £9,568 per annum *Please note tronc figures are a qualified estimate and projected OTE. This role is hourly paid and every hour worked is paid. What is in it for you? As a Chef de Partie in our 8th Floor Kitchen, you will take ownership of the Colleague Canteen operation planning and producing a varied, fresh, and seasonal menu that changes regularly and genuinely reflects the care we have for our team. You will take full ownership of your section managing ordering and stock control, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation, and ensuring that every meal served to our colleagues is something to look forward to. Working within the broader 8th Floor Kitchen team, you will also have the opportunity to support across other outlets and develop your skills across a wide variety of menus and service styles. You will also play a vital role in coaching and supervising junior members of the team, sharing your knowledge, and contributing to a kitchen culture that is positive, professional, and proud of what it produces. Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen environment hotel, restaurant, contract catering, or premium hospitality. A genuine passion for food, fresh seasonal ingredients, and producing meals that people genuinely enjoy. Demonstrated ability to run a section independently, manage ordering and stock, and maintain standards throughout busy service. Experience planning and delivering varied menus with creativity and consistency. Experience coaching and developing junior team members, with the patience and enthusiasm to bring others along. A can-do attitude, strong work ethic, and meticulous attention to detail. A confident, energetic, and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during a busy service.
