Wholesale Account Manager Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Wholesale Account Manager to join a growing fashion business within the activewear and lifestyle sector. This role will focus on driving new business across key UK and international retailers, including New Look, Zalando, JD Sports, ASOS, Next, and Very. You will play a key role in introducing and establishing the brand within these accounts, building strong relationships, and supporting long-term growth. This is a commercially focused position, suited to someone confident in opening doors, developing partnerships, and working closely with internal teams to bring products to market. Wholesale Account Manager Key Responsibilities • Identify, target, and secure new wholesale accounts across key retailers including New Look, Zalando, JD Sports, ASOS, Next, and Very, • Build and develop strong relationships with buyers and key decision-makers., • Lead customer meetings, presenting brand identity, product ranges, and seasonal collections., • Drive brand penetration within new accounts, supporting sell-in and ongoing growth., • Work closely with design and product development teams to align ranges with customer requirements., • Manage the process from initial outreach through to onboarding and first orders., • Negotiate costings, margins, and trading terms with customers., • Monitor performance of new accounts, identifying opportunities to grow and expand ranges., • Collaborate with internal teams across merchandising, production, and logistics to ensure smooth delivery., • Keep up to date with market trends, competitors, and retailer strategies to identify opportunities. Wholesale Account Manager Skills and Experience • Proven experience in wholesale sales, account management, or business development within fashion or textiles, • Experience working with, or selling into, major retailers such as New Look, Zalando, JD Sports, ASOS, Next, or Very, • Strong track record of opening new accounts or driving new business., • Confident presenter with the ability to sell both product and brand., • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills, • Experience working alongside design and product teams., • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and timelines., • Proactive, driven, and comfortable in a target-led environment
